A Letter From Glenn

To my clients and friends,

I am writing to inform you that as of August 1, 2019, I will be starting the process of retiring. Suzy has been retired from teaching in the Boyertown Area School District for the past year and we are currently planning on moving to a retirement community in Arizona. Our son and his wife live in California, and this will allow us to visit quite often, all the while enjoying year-round sunshine.

It has been a pleasure to be a small part of music in your homes, institutions and churches for the last 41 years, and I wish you, your families and staff the best in the years to come. If there is anything I can do to assist you during this transition, I would be more than happy to do so. A friend and colleague, L.J. Norelli will be taking over my business. As of August 1, 2019, L.J. will be servicing the pianos of all my institutional clients. I will continue to tune home pianos through December 20, 2019 and assist L.J. so that there will be a smooth transition. Beginning January 1, 2020, piano service for all my clients will be taken over by L.J. who will continue my current pricing schedule.

I have worked with L.J. over the past several years and know he will do a fine job servicing your pianos. I hope that you will allow him to follow in my footsteps and continue the care of your instruments. L.J. has provided a letter of introduction and I know you will be able to foster the same relationship with him that we have had over the years.

L.J. will be contacting you about service when your pianos are due, but please do not hesitate to contact him with any concerns or maintenance needs. Again, thank you for all the years of confidence and loyalty. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact either of us.

All of the best,
Glenn Landis

A Letter From L.J.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and express my appreciation for the chance to meet you and to continue the servicing of your instruments. My name is L.J., and I have been in the piano industry for the past four years, working in and around the Philadelphia area both as a private technician and as a factory technician with Cunningham Piano Co. I’m fortunate to have had the opportunity to tune, repair, and restore some of the finest piano brands—Steinway, Bosendorfer, Schimmel, Yamaha, etc.—an opportunity that many technicians never see. I plan to utilize that experience to provide you with the best service possible.

As I’m sure you’re all aware, Glenn is a wonderful man and technician. He has been fundamental in my growth as a professional, connecting me with members of the piano community who have led me to success. He’s a fantastic colleague, but I’m happier to call him my friend. I’m excited for him to enjoy his hard-earned retirement with his wife Suzy in Arizona.

After four decades of servicing your pianos, what’s most valuable is the relationships that he’s built with each and every one of you. You’ve invested in one other and I’d like to show my respect for that commitment by maintaining Glenn’s current pricing. I will also do my best to match his scheduling format in an effort to make the transition as seamless as possible. I hope you will allow me to continue the relationship and ask that you join me in celebrating Glenn’s success and his upcoming retirement.

Should you have any questions or concerns (or maybe you just want to chat!) please feel free to reach out and give me a call.

Thank you,
L.J. Norelli
